Hit In It
A training bat is a game bat with one variable pushed to an extreme so a hitter feels the flaw. Weighted bats load the swing and build strength; thin-barrel bats punish anything but the sweet spot; short one-hand bats isolate the top or bottom hand in tee and soft-toss work. None of them replace a game bat — they earn their place in the ten minutes before you pick one up. Check length and weight on the retailer's page against the hitter's size.
