CageList is a marketplace for baseball and softball. Families book cages, lessons, camps and classes near them. Owners, facilities, coaches, teams and leagues list what they offer and get paid.

CageList is where the game connects. Baseball and softball already run on a lot of separate pieces: a backyard cage, a coach, a men's league, a travel team, a Little League, a tournament, a bat. Most are hard to find, and none of them talk to each other.
We put them in one place so the people who need each other can find each other. We do not want to own the game or run your league. A cage owner keeps their cage, a coach keeps their families, a league keeps its own schedule. We are the connection between them, and the directories are free.
Search your city, pick a date and a start time, and book. Instant Book listings confirm on the spot; on the rest the host accepts first. You pay through CageList, and your access details (gate code, lockbox or who to meet) arrive by email and text.
Indoor facilities and academies are listed so you can find them and message them. The ones with online booking turned on show a Book button.
Your own families: you keep 100%, minus the card fee. Families we send you: you keep 95%, and they pay a one-time $10 finder fee. Payouts go straight to your bank. There is no subscription and no monthly fee.
Applying is a free profile. The background check is a one-time fee paid when you apply, refunded in full if you are not approved.

If you run a league, the president, commissioner or a board member can claim the league page. Team managers claim their own team page. Each claim is free today.
Travel and club teams: text one link and families join with their player's first name and age. Then the roster, tournament votes, dues and scores live in one place. Setup is free. If you collect dues through CageList, you set the price and keep 95%; CageList pays the card fee out of its share.
Little Leagues: list your league's batting cage for reserved family time. Payouts go to the league's bank account, the board controls the calendar, and CageList takes nothing from your cage rate once you are verified.
Searching and the directories are free for everyone.
Players: the hourly rate you see on a backyard cage already includes a 10% service fee, and it is itemized at checkout. Booking an indoor facility or academy carries no player fee.
Backyard hosts keep 90% of each booking. Facilities and academies with online booking pay 5% of each session, and CageList pays the card fee out of that 5%. A claimed directory profile is free. Featured is $49 a year, and free until March 31, 2027 for founding facilities.
Accounts are for adults. A parent or guardian creates and manages everything about a child. Kids never log in, post or get messaged.
A player profile is private by default: only the parent and the connections the parent approves can see it, and it is blocked from search engines. Team pages never show a roster of minors. We never use a minor's photos in our own marketing without separate written consent.
If your family books a lesson, the coach may take photos and video during it. You can turn that off any time in your settings. A parent can delete a child's profile and all its media in one step.

Nothing to list, and nothing monthly. CageList takes 10% of each booking, so you keep 90%, and players pay a separate service fee on top of your rate rather than out of it.
Payouts run through Stripe straight to your bank. A booking becomes payable 48 hours after the session finishes. That buffer covers a dispute, and a daily batch releases everything that has cleared it.
It depends on your rate, your city and how many hours you open up. The cost calculator models the build cost, your hourly rate and monthly earnings together, so you can see the payback period before you list or before you build.
Every player signs a digital liability waiver before their first session, and it is stored against the booking. Your house rules show on your listing and are agreed at checkout. Yes. Featured academies turn on online booking themselves once their hours are set and their bank is connected; once it is on, you set which spaces are bookable, your hours and your rate, and players book and pay without a phone call. Each cage, tunnel, flat-ground or film room can be listed and priced separately.
Both. Memberships are recurring plans charged monthly and cancellable by the member, and teams that train with you can pay their season dues through the same account.
Yes. Each coach gets their own profile and calendar, and families booking a lesson land on your academy. Their availability and yours stay in one place instead of a group text.

No. That is the point: you get access to a cage or academy every time you book a lesson, so you can teach without renting a space by the month or hoping a field is free.
A standard screen run through our business partner Checkr (ID verification, a national criminal check and a sex offender check), usually clear in a few business days. It does not include county courthouse record searches, and no check finds everything. It costs $29.99 one time, paid when you apply and refunded in full if you are not approved, and it is re-checked free every three years. You enter your details with Checkr directly, so CageList never sees your Social Security number.
