A competing travel or club program. List it free so families can find tryouts and how to join.

Find your seeded team and claim it free — or list it if it's missing. About two minutes.

I am in a pile of travel baseball and travel softball groups, and the most common post in all of them is a parent saying they just moved here and are looking for a team. That comment thread is the entire inbound channel for most programs in the country. It should not be.
What that does to the market is turn clout into a moat. Once a program has a reputation in a region it keeps it, almost regardless of what is happening at practice. The programs that own an area are usually good at four unglamorous things: organizing, communicating, finding fields, and running a tryout. Coaching is not on that list, and it does not have to be.
There is a pattern across the industry worth saying plainly, because it is no secret to anybody inside it and invisible to everybody outside. On a five or six thousand dollar season, the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth players on a roster are where the profit sits. A fifteen deep 10U roster is a business decision before it is a baseball one. Most parents would not be thrilled to hear that, and most of them have no other option they trust.
Trust is the actual problem. I hear some version of "we brought him to you because we never played and we do not know anything about it" constantly. When that is the situation, whoever sounds the most experienced becomes the expert. Some of those people are excellent. Some are selling.
The fair objection to a directory like this one is that it hands a bad operator a bigger stage too. I have thought about that and I still want it, because the market already rewards clout and admin over coaching. If every good coach gets the same tools, and a family can put two programs side by side and compare the schedule, the dues and the roster size, then clout stops being a moat. That is the only version of this where the better program wins.
