About the league
The Antelope Valley Men's Adult Baseball League (AVMABL) is an 18-and-over men's baseball league based in and around Lancaster, in northern Los Angeles County (the Lancaster/Palmdale area). It fields roughly ten teams and is affiliated with the national MSBL/MABL organization, using Pointstreak to publish its schedules, standings, and statistics.
The league is currently active, with a 2026 schedule and standings posted online. Prospective players, including free agents without a team, join by completing the league's online Player Interest Form, after which a team manager follows up about placement.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball across 18+ (single 18-and-over league) divisions, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join Antelope Valley MABL as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Lancaster-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
