Background check
Pay the one-time $29.99 fee and Checkr runs a standard screen, usually clear in a few business days. The fee is refunded in full if you're not approved.

CageList carries no business insurance for coaches. You must carry your own liability insurance when you coach, and we may ask for proof at any time.

Is it free to apply to coach on CageList?
The profile is free. The only charge is $29.99 for the background check, paid when you apply, passed straight through to Checkr, and refunded in full if you are not approved.
How long does the coach application take?
About ten minutes: who you are, where you played and coached, the levels and sport you teach, your hourly rate, and a short bio. You need a CageList account to submit it.
What happens after I apply?
You pay the one-time $29.99 fee and Checkr runs your background check while a real person reads your application, usually within two days. Once both clear you set your rate and photos, and your profile is searchable the same day.
