Hit In It
What you feed a machine matters as much as the machine. Dimpled polyurethane balls are built for wheel machines and last a season of it; leather practice balls come off the bat like a game ball but chew up both the ball and the wheels; limited-flight and foam balls make a short garage cage safe to hit in. Buy by the bucket rather than the dozen once a cage is running — you will lose more than you expect.
