Cage Lighting

Lighting is the difference between a cage you use in July and a cage you use in February. Linkable LED shop lights are the common answer for a covered tunnel — they daisy-chain off one outlet and mount straight to a frame or rafter. Flood lights cover an open backyard cage. Aim for even coverage down the length of the tunnel rather than one bright source, which throws shadows across the plate exactly where a hitter needs to pick up the ball.
