Backyard Batting Cage in Temecula, CA

"No Base Like Home" is the perfect name for this backyard batting cage in Temecula, CA — a mom's backyard turned into a genuine hitting facility for her two baseball-loving boys, and now open for other families and players to enjoy too.
The cage
This is a big one: 80 feet long, 14 feet wide, and 10 feet tall, giving hitters the length to track a real pitch. The star of the show is an Iron Mike auto-feed pitching machine — no self-feeding balls between swings — loaded with roughly 100 yellow balls and adjustable anywhere from 35 to 80 mph, so hitters of nearly any level can dial in the right speed. Baseballs are included with the machine, and there's a seating area and parking on site. Sessions run $35/hour.
Who it's for
The auto-feed machine and wide speed range make this a fit for younger hitters just building timing all the way up to advanced players wanting steady high-velocity reps without a partner feeding the machine. With room for up to six guests, it works equally well for a solo session, a parent-and-player workout, or a small group taking turns in the box while everyone else watches from the seating area.
The host
Yolanda introduces herself the way any proud baseball parent would: "Hi! I'm a mom of three! I have two baseball-loving boys! Come have some backyard fun and improve your batting skills in our batting cage!" She's built the kind of setup her own kids love — a real machine, real length, a place to just hit — and then swung the gate open for the neighborhood. It's pride and generosity in equal measure, and it shows.
Good to know
It's an outdoor, uncovered cage, so plan around the weather. House rules keep the backyard family-friendly and calm: no pets, no seeds, no loud music, no team practices, no smoking, no glass, and no alcohol. Parking and a seating area are available on site, so it's easy to bring a parent along to watch.
