Backyard Batting Cage in Burleson, TX

Known around town as The Backyard Bullpen, this backyard batting cage in Burleson, TX is a clean, open-air turf setup that quickly became a local favorite for getting quality swings in — without the packed lanes of a commercial facility.
The cage
This is a fully enclosed 60-foot cage laid over professional-grade turf, with high-quality netting and a Hack Attack pitching machine that gives hitters of every level a real, game-speed look. There's plenty of room to hit and easy access to the space, so you're not fighting to get set up. Softballs are available on request for a small additional fee, which makes it a fit for softball players too, and the cage is set up for evening sessions under the lights. Sessions run $30/hour, an easy rate for a clean, private, well-equipped tunnel you get to yourself.
Who it's for
Whether you're a parent working with a young ballplayer, a coach running team practice, or a player just after extra reps, this cage is built for you. The open turf and Hack Attack machine handle everyone from beginners finding their timing to advanced hitters wanting a tougher look, and there's room to run a real practice rather than squeeze into a short lane.
The host
Laura runs The Backyard Bullpen as a place to "train hard and have fun" — a welcoming, no-crowds alternative to a busy commercial facility. It's become Burleson's favorite backyard-style cage for a reason: it's clean, well-equipped, and genuinely built for hitters who want to put in real work at their own pace.
Good to know
You get the whole space to yourself, so you can practice at your own pace without waiting on a crowd. Evening sessions under the lights and the crisp Texas air make this a great after-work or after-practice option, and softballs are available for a small extra fee if you need them.
