For a hitter who wants to lock in and work, this private backyard batting cage in Ramona, CA keeps it focused and secure, a quiet, spacious setup built for individual reps and small-group sessions without any of the noise or waiting that comes with a busy commercial facility.

The cage

The cage measures 40 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 10 feet tall, strung with durable netting in a secure, private setting. It includes an L-screen, a batting tee, a soft-toss station, and a bucket of balls, so you can rotate through tee work, front toss, and live cuts in a single session. An optional pitching machine is available on request when you want machine reps too. Sessions are $40/hour. It's a clean, purpose-built space for getting real work done, not a place with a lot of extras to distract you.

Who it's for

Chad welcomes youth and high school players for individual sessions, small groups, private lessons, and content filming, up to four guests. It's ideal for a focused hitter grinding through mechanics or a coach running a one-on-one, rather than a full team practice, and the private setting makes it easy to concentrate on the work.

The host

Chad keeps this cage private, secure, and ready to hit. It's a well-maintained backyard setup offered to local players who want a distraction-free place to train close to home, and the tidy list of house rules reflects how carefully he looks after the space.

Good to know

The setting is private and secure. Parking is limited to street spots, with some driveway parking when available, so plan ahead if you're bringing a couple of people. This cage is set up for individuals and small groups, no team practices. House rules keep it respectful: no pets, alcohol, smoking, loud music, seeds, gum, or glass. Ask ahead if you'd like the pitching machine added to your session.
