Backyard Batting Cage in Poway, CA

Space is the story here: this backyard batting cage in Poway, CA comes with a brand-new cage and an adjacent enclosed turf field — about 8,000 square feet of training ground built by a coach who knows what young players actually need.
The cage
The cage runs a full 75 feet long, 10 feet wide, and 10 feet tall — an outdoor cage with brand-new, great-quality turf. It includes an L-screen, a batting tee, baseballs and softballs, and LED lighting and restroom access on site. Just as notable is the adjacent turf field: fully enclosed with 20-foot netting and large enough for little league baseball or softball infield practice. Sessions start at $60/hour, with add-ons for a pitching machine, lights, softball usage, and the full field space when you need room to spread out. Between the cage and the field, there's genuine flexibility to build a session around hitting, defense, or both.
Who it's for
Between the cage and the enclosed field, it handles individual hitters, small groups, and full infield practices — up to 15 guests. It's an especially good fit for youth baseball and softball teams that need real space to run a proper practice, not just squeeze in a few cuts, and the softball capability makes it work for both sports.
The host
Ron provides baseball and softball hitting lessons to kids ages 8–12 and is a former Little League and U13 coach. That coaching background is written into the design — a cage and field laid out for teaching fundamentals, running drills, and giving young players room to work, not just a place to swing.
Good to know
The cage and field are lighted (available as an add-on) and there's restroom access on site. With 8,000 square feet of enclosed training space, there's genuine room for team work and infield drills. House rules keep it tidy: no pets, seeds, food, gum, smoking, glass, or alcohol.
