Backyard Batting Cage in Port St. Lucie, FL

This backyard batting cage in Port St. Lucie, FL — Little Sluggers PSL — exists because one family got tired of driving all over town to find a place to practice and decided to build their own. Joey Serbia put it in his backyard for his two sons, and now he's opened it up to everyone.
The cage
The cage measures 60 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 10 feet tall — an outdoor setup that comes with a Bata B1 curveball pitching machine capable of throwing both fastballs and curveballs up to 70 MPH, for baseballs and softballs alike. You also get an L-screen, a batting tee, baseballs and softballs, and additional softball machine capability. There's a seating area, restroom access, parking, and a sound system on site. Sessions are $40/hour with full access to the cage and machine.
Who it's for
Built for hitters looking for extra reps, individual training, and small-group or team sessions — up to 14 guests. The switch-hitting, dual-sport machine makes it a strong fit for both baseball and softball players who want live-speed pitches.
The host
"Hi, my name is Joey and I coach little league," he says. "I have 2 sons that play baseball, ages 10 and 12. We got sick and tired of looking for somewhere to practice, so we decided to build this in our home. We'd be happy to share it with you!" That family origin is the heart of the place — and Joey's happy to answer any questions before you book.
Good to know
You'll have full access to the cage and the pitching machine, which handles left- and right-hand curveballs and switches between baseballs and softballs. Parking, seating, restroom access, and a sound system are all on site. Message Joey ahead of time if you have any questions about the setup.
