Backyard Batting Cage in New Braunfels, TX

They call it The Polish Batting Cave, and it's a backyard batting cage in New Braunfels, TX a dad built for his two select-ball sons — the kind of thoughtful backyard setup where you warm up on the wall and then step straight into live pitching.
The cage
This outdoor cage is 60 feet long, 13 feet wide, and 12 feet tall, floored with net turf and lit for evening reps. The pitching mound is set up at 50 feet, there's electricity outside so you can easily hook up a machine, and there's a walk-through gate so you don't get tangled in the net on your way in. It comes with an L-screen, baseballs, a hitting tee, and a pitching mound, plus a Junior Hack Attack loaded with 80 leather balls and a smaller SKLZ machine with small bats and balls for younger hitters. There's plenty of shade to cool off, along with parking, lights, seating, and a sound system. Sessions are $40/hour.
Who it's for
It's dialed in for individual and family use of up to 5 — warm up outside on the pitching wall, then step in for live reps. It's a great fit for a player and a parent, and especially good for younger hitters thanks to the junior machine and small balls that let them face real pitching at their level.
The host
Bo is "married with two boys, 10 and 8, both in Select baseball," and he's refreshingly honest about the cage in the best possible way: "It's not perfect but it works very well." That's a dad who built something real for his kids, put genuine thought into it, and is glad to share it with other families chasing the same reps.
Good to know
Net turf, lights, and shade keep it comfortable through the Texas heat and into the evening. House rules keep it to individual and family sessions (no full team practices), plus no pets, no seeds or gum, and keep the music down. Parking is on site, and the walk-through gate makes getting in and out easy.
