Backyard Batting Cage in Neosho, MO

In Neosho, the backyard batting cage in Neosho, MO at 4 States Sports gives hitters access to the same outdoor cages a 30-year training operation uses with its own athletes — a serious, well-equipped setup available to book by the hour.
The cage
4 States Sports runs two outdoor cages, each 70 feet long by 13 feet wide and well lit for early-morning or late-evening sessions. They're built for both baseball and softball: a mound for baseball, a mat for softball pitching, Z-screens for protection while soft-tossing to batters, and a pitching machine when you need it. Balls, bats, and helmets are all provided, and there's room for infield work beyond the cages themselves. Restroom access and on-site parking round out the space. Sessions are $30/hour.
Who it's for
The cages are used mostly by 4 States' private coaches and athletes in their training programs, but they're open to outside hitters, coaches, and small groups of up to 8. The dual baseball-and-softball setup, with dedicated mounds and mats for each, makes it a strong fit for families that field both sports and for players who want equipment provided rather than hauling their own.
The host
Dawn and Chris Garrett own 4 States Sports and have been, in their words, "in the business of building athletes for the best part of 30 years." Their focus is training young athletes, and they welcome outside players into the very cages their programs run on — a rare chance to train where the coaches train.
Good to know
Both cages are covered, lit, and open whenever you need them, which makes scheduling around school, work, or weather straightforward. House rules are simple: no smoking, no alcohol, no glass. Parking and a restroom are on site, and because equipment is provided, you can show up ready to work.
