In Moody, a multi-sport family built a backyard batting cage in Moody, AL that truly looks the part, 70 feet of turf, a professionally made pitching mound, and the kind of setup that turns an ordinary backyard into a real training ground.
The cage
This outdoor cage runs 70 feet long, 12 feet wide, and a tall 20 feet, laid over 70 feet of turf on a graded, flat surface. It comes with an L-cage, a pitching machine, a hitting tee, and both baseballs and softballs, along with a professionally made wooden pitching mound complete with its own turf floor, a genuine touch you rarely see in a backyard cage. Restroom access and a sound system are on site, and extra baseballs and additional machine time are available as add-ons when you want more. Sessions are $45/hour.
