Backyard Batting Cage in Margate, FL

Behind a gate in a quiet neighborhood sits a full-size backyard batting cage in Margate, FL that plenty of hitters wish they had at home — and it exists because one baseball dad decided to build it for his player, then opened it up to the rest of the community.
The cage
This is a real 70-foot outdoor cage, 12 feet wide and 12 feet tall, with enough length for full pitching-machine reps and live batting practice. Jason keeps it stocked with a two-wheel Juggs machine, an L-screen, baseballs, a hitting tee, and a pitching mound, plus a fastpitch softball machine so softball players can get their work in too. On site you'll find restroom access, on-site parking, and a sound system to keep the session moving. Sessions run $30/hour, and you reserve the time by the hour and train on your own schedule.
Who it's for
It fits solo hitters, a parent throwing to a kid, or small groups of up to 8 — the kind of place you book when your player wants extra swings and every local cage is packed. Between the baseball and softball machines and the mound, both hitters and pitchers have real work to do here, and Jason has even offered to pitch if he happens to be around.
The host
Jason is a "baseball dad of a PO" who works for the Sheriff's Office and hosts inside a gated community. What started as a setup for his own son has become a spot he shares with the neighborhood — the family that ends up being the one with the batting cage everyone wants to use, and the kind of host who'll go out of his way to make the session worthwhile.
What hitters say
"Really nice full size cage and equipment. Easy to find. Great experience and unlimited reps for my 9 year old. Would highly recommend." — Don
Good to know
It's an outdoor cage inside a gated community, so it's private, safe, and easy to find. House rules keep things simple: turf-friendly shoes only (no cleats), keep the music down, and no smoking, alcohol, or hitting outside the posted rules. Parking and a restroom are on site.
