Omar Morales put his heart and soul into a South LA backyard batting cage in Los Angeles, CA — and at just $25/hour, it's one of the most accessible spots in the city to get real live-BP, soft-toss, and front-toss reps.

The cage

Omar's outdoor cage runs 35 feet long, 14 wide, and 9 tall. It's stocked with an L-screen, a hitting tee, a bucket of leather baseballs, 12 Total Control TCB 74 balls, and 12 SKLZ wiffle balls, plus a small area to work on fielding. It's set up for soft toss, front toss, and live BP. There's lighting, a sound system, seating, restroom access, and parking. Sessions are just $25/hour, with add-ons available: extra TCB 74 balls ($5), personal soft/front toss and live pitching from Omar ($15), or a Hack Attack pitching machine ($25).

Who it's for

With room for up to six guests and flexible toss options, this cage fits solo hitters, a parent throwing BP, or a couple of teammates rotating through. The Hack Attack and personal-pitching add-ons let you scale a session from a light tee-and-toss workout up to full live BP.

The host

Omar keeps it real: "I'm 29 years old. I love the game of baseball and everything to do with it. I put my heart and soul into this cage, and I am offering it to anyone who wants to get some reps and improve on their game." Good to know
