Backyard Batting Cage in Houston, TX

In north central Houston, Danny Arredondo turned his yard into a backyard batting cage in Houston, TX that hitters and whole teams can book — a private, lighted, turfed setup that plays like a real training facility without leaving the neighborhood.
The cage
Danny's outdoor cage runs 55 feet long, 15 wide, and 10 tall, laid over turf. It comes with a pitching machine, an L-screen, a batting tee, baseballs, and a bullpen mound, plus exterior lighting for evening sessions and a mini Wiffle ball field on the side. There's seating and parking on-site. Sessions are $40/hour, with a pitching-machine add-on available for $10, and the cage fits up to nine guests — enough room for a full team to rotate through.
Who it's for
With space for nine and a real machine on hand, this cage works for solo hitters, families, and teams looking for extra reps, team practice, or individual training near Houston. The lights keep it useful after work and after school; the mound lets pitchers get bullpen work in alongside the hitting. The mini Wiffle ball field on the side is a nice touch for younger siblings or a fun cooldown once the serious reps are done.
The host
Danny keeps a "private batting cage located in north central Houston" and runs it like his own — turfed, lit, and ready for a group. Building a full team-sized cage in your backyard takes real effort, and Danny put in the work so local players don't have to fight for field time or drive across town for a decent cage. It's become one of the go-to backyard spots for hitters in his part of Houston.
Good to know
The lighting makes evening sessions easy, and the turf plays clean year-round. House rules are simple: no cleats on the turf, no glass, no alcohol, and no smoking. Parking and seating are on-site for family and teammates watching along. The cage fits up to nine, and a pitching-machine add-on is available for $10 if you want to run the machine for your whole session.
