Sitting conveniently between Auburn and Montgomery, this backyard batting cage in Dadeville, AL (T-Ripp's training facility) gives hitters and pitchers a fully turfed, well-equipped space that's hard to find in this part of the state.

The cage

This outdoor cage runs 60 feet long, 12 wide, and 12 tall, fully turfed end to end. It's stocked for serious work: a Juggs pitching machine with balls, a fast-pitch softball machine, an L-screen for front toss, batting tees, a bullpen mound, and a comprehensive assortment of training devices. The space is roomy enough for catchers to work on their skills too. A bathroom and music are on site, and sessions run $50/hour.

Who it's for

With machines for both baseball and softball, a bullpen mound, and room for up to ten guests, this cage handles a wide range of practice, hitters facing live machine reps, pitchers throwing bullpens, catchers honing their craft, and small teams getting a full session in. The dual-sport setup makes it useful year-round for a broad set of players.

The host

Stanley runs T-Ripp's training facility as a well-equipped, no-nonsense place to train, positioned to serve players across the Auburn–Montgomery corridor with quality cage access close to home. For families in the area, having a fully turfed 60-foot cage this well stocked within a short drive is a real advantage.

Good to know

The fully turfed surface and deep equipment list mean you can walk in and get straight to work, whatever your position, hitter, pitcher, or catcher. With machines for both baseball and softball on hand, the space serves a broad range of players year-round. A bathroom is on site for longer sessions. House rules are minimal (no pets, no alcohol) keeping the focus squarely on training.
