Backyard Batting Cage in Claremont, CA

There's something special about a backyard batting cage in Claremont, CA that a father and son built together — and then decided to share with anyone who needs help along their own baseball journey.
The cage
The Kapadia cage is a custom-built, one-of-a-kind 35-foot wooden cage in excellent condition, set in a quiet, upscale neighborhood with lights for evening sessions. Inside you'll find a solid L-screen, a pro batting tee, and baseballs, all on a turf hitting mat laid over a compacted dirt floor. There's also a pitching mound and bullpen available, and a bullpen catcher can be arranged with prior notice. Sessions run $20/hour, with water, Gatorade, and a bullpen-catcher add-on available.
Who it's for
Room for up to five guests, a mound, and a bullpen make this a fit for hitters getting focused reps, pitchers logging work with a catcher on request, and small family or teammate sessions. The turf mat over a compacted dirt floor gives a firm, consistent surface, and the enclosed 35-foot tunnel keeps everything contained. It's an ideal spot to sharpen mechanics in a calm, private setting.
The host
Tim and Taylor are a father-and-son, coach-and-player pair "sharing what we have for anyone who needs help along their baseball journey." You can feel that intent in the details — the custom hand-built wooden cage, the pro tee, the offer to arrange a bullpen catcher with notice. This is a family's own training space, built with care and opened up so other players can benefit from it too.
Good to know
The neighborhood is safe and upscale, and the lights make evening sessions comfortable. House rules keep it respectful: no cleats, no loud music, no smoking, no alcohol. If you'd like a bullpen catcher, just give notice ahead of time.
