At just $10 an hour, this indoor batting cage in South Jordan, UT is one of the best values on CageList, and it exists because one family took a 50-by-100-foot outbuilding and turned it into a real baseball and softball practice space.

The cage

The building holds two batting cages (one with a pitching machine) plus plenty of open floor for practice. The primary cage runs 55 feet long, 16 wide, and 14 tall. It's stocked with baseballs and softballs, a baseball pitching machine, an L-screen, a hitting tee, and a baseball bullpen mound, with room for infield work. Sessions are just $10/hour with ten guests included, and a bathroom, parking, and lighting are all on hand.

Who it's for
