Indoor Batting Cage in Smyrna, TN

If you want serious swings without the noise and chaos of a crowded gym, the indoor batting cage in Smyrna, TN at The Workshop is built for exactly that — a single, spacious tunnel dedicated to private coaching, team sessions, and focused individual training, right where you need it.
The cage
This is a full 70-foot indoor cage, climate-controlled and covered so it works every day of the year no matter what the Tennessee weather is doing. It comes stocked with baseballs, a hitting tee, a soft-toss station, an L-screen, a pitching machine, and a bullpen mound, plus enough open space for infield work when you need it. A bathroom, seating, and solid lighting round out the setup. Standard time runs $45 an hour, and there are add-ons available for hitters who want more, including a Juggs BP3 baseball pitching machine with a changeup and a Max BP option for live, game-speed looks.
Who it’s for
The Workshop welcomes players at every level — youth, high school, college, and professional. It fits individual sessions, small groups, youth and adult team practices, pitching and infield work, private lessons, camps and clinics, birthday parties, and even content filming. Up to four guests can share the space at once, which keeps sessions personal and productive rather than crowded.
The host
The Workshop runs this cage as a training space for coaches and athletes who specifically want room to work without a large, busy facility around them. As they put it, the goal is a space for coaching individuals, teams, or single athletes looking to avoid the crowd. Additional booking availability is listed at theworkshop.fit.
Good to know
The tunnel is very private, so the space is genuinely yours during your session. Parking is limited on pavement but plentiful on the grass, so there’s always room for a team to pull in. House rules keep it clean and focused — no food, seeds, gum, cleats, or pets — and because it’s climate-controlled, the weather outside never cancels your reps.
