Out at Peak View Ranch, a family with two baseball players and a softball player built this indoor batting cage in Parker, CO, a covered tunnel with a real infield attached, exactly the kind of setup a hitter dreams of having a short drive from home.

The cage

The covered cage measures 50 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 12 feet high, with turf and lighting. It's stocked with baseballs, an L-screen, a hitting tee, a full infield, and enough space for infield work, a real advantage for players who want to pair hitting with glove reps in the same session instead of splitting them across two places. There's parking, a seating area, and a sound system. Sessions run $25/hour, with an outdoor infield available as an add-on when you want to take grounders under the open sky.

Who it's for

With room for up to 12 guests, this cage flexes comfortably from a solo hitter to a small group, and the attached infield makes it a standout pick for players who want to take grounders and swings in one visit. The affordable $25/hour rate makes it easy to book regular practice rather than saving cage time for special occasions.

The host

Luke Massey and his family ("2 baseball players and 1 softball player") built this cage for their own kids first. That's exactly why the infield is there: it's a real family setup made for real, everyday practice, now opened up so other Parker-area players can get the same combination of hitting and fielding under one roof.

Good to know

The covered cage supports year-round hitting through Colorado's changeable weather, and the outdoor infield add-on extends practice out into the open when conditions allow. Parking and seating are on-site, keeping a visit easy. House rules are refreshingly simple: no gum, glass, or smoking. Capacity of up to 12 makes it workable for a small group or a family session.
