For hitters who want a proper, no-excuses tunnel, this indoor batting cage in Longmont, CO from Wells Athletics is a genuine standout, a 70-foot lane that splits into two batting tunnels, with a Jugs pitching machine included on every single rental so you're never paying extra for the essentials.

The cage

The 70-foot indoor lane divides in half to create two working tunnels, so more than one hitter can get reps at the same time, a real advantage for pairs, small groups, or a coach splitting attention between players. Every rental includes a Jugs pitching machine, and the space also carries baseball and softball machines in both fast-pitch and slow-pitch, an L-screen, and buckets of baseballs and softballs available at no extra charge. The facility has LED lighting, restroom access, a seating area, and music. Sessions run $35/hour with generous parking right outside.

Who it's for

This is a versatile facility built to handle a wide range of bookings: individual sessions, small groups, youth and adult team practices, pitching and infield work, and even birthday parties. Player levels span youth all the way through professional, and with room for up to 30 guests and 30 parking spots, it comfortably absorbs a full team without feeling cramped.

The host

Wells Athletics runs this as a dedicated training space, and it's equipped like one, multiple machines, split tunnels, and the square footage to take on a whole roster at once. The private layout and the included ball buckets take the friction out of a practice, so players spend their time hitting instead of hauling and setting up gear.

Good to know

Everything is indoor and covered, which makes this a reliable year-round option through Colorado winters when outdoor reps simply aren't happening. There's plenty of exterior parking, and the venue is rated very private. House rules keep it clean and respectful: no cleats, food, seeds, gum, glass, pets, alcohol, or smoking. Book ahead for team blocks or birthday parties given the generous guest capacity.
