Indoor Batting Cage in Little Elm, TX

They call it "the barn," and this indoor batting cage in Little Elm, TX is exactly the kind of home setup every hitter wishes they had out back — a big, covered, lit, turfed tunnel that a longtime coach built for his own son's teams, and now opens up to hitters across the area who want serious reps close to home.
The cage
This is a big one, and it feels like it: 56 feet long, 20 feet wide, and 12 feet high, covered with a steel frame and heavy-duty tarps, with turf running throughout. It comes equipped with a baseball pitching machine, an L-screen, a hitting tee, and a pitching mound, plus LED lighting for evening sessions and a seating area for whoever's watching or waiting their turn. Sessions run $50/hour, and various other training tools are kept on hand so you can work on whatever part of your game needs it that day — hitting, pitching, or bullpen work off the mound.
Who it's for
With space for up to four guests, the barn fits an individual hitter grinding out reps, a parent-and-kid session, or the private training the host runs. The pitching machine and mound make it a genuine option for pitchers, not just hitters. Note the house rule of no team practices — this space is set up for focused, smaller-group work rather than a full squad rotating through.
The host
Diego Arroyo has coached baseball for over 30 years, "from T-ball to High School," and by his own account he loves to teach and coach the game. "We built our cage for youngest son's teams," he says, and it now doubles as a home for the private training he does. That's three decades of coaching poured into one backyard build — and it shows in how thoughtfully the barn is equipped and run.
Good to know
The steel-frame cover and full turf make this a genuine year-round setup, rain or shine, which matters through a Texas summer or a cold snap. House rules are straightforward and keep the space in good shape: no cleats, seeds, pets, glass, alcohol, or smoking, and no team practices. It's a private backyard space, so plan for a smaller, focused session — that's where this cage shines.
