For teams that need real space, the indoor batting cage in Katy, TX at Swing City Baseball & Softball is one of the largest around, five cages under one roof and 6,000 square feet of turf.

The cage

Swing City spans 6,000 square feet of turf across five separate cages, with the main space measuring 90 feet long, 60 feet wide, and 20 feet tall. Two automatic machines throw fastballs, curveballs, and knuckleballs, giving hitters a genuine variety of looks to work against. The facility is stocked with an L-screen, a hitting tee, both baseballs and softballs, and room for infield work. Amenities include LED lighting, a Bluetooth sound system, a seating area, restroom access, and parking. Rates run $90/hour, with room for up to 30 guests at once.

Who it's for

With five cages and that much turf, this is built for full teams, camps, and busy training days when several groups need to work simultaneously without waiting on a lane. The variety of pitches from the automatic machines makes it a strong fit for hitters at every level, from youth players learning to track spin to advanced hitters sharpening their timing against breaking balls.

The host

Luis runs Swing City as a dedicated baseball and softball facility in Katy, a professional operation set up to handle serious volume and serious training. The scale of the space and the range of equipment make it clear this is a place built for players who want to put in real, structured work.

Good to know

The facility is indoor and fully covered, so weather is never a factor in whether practice happens. Parking, restrooms, and seating are all on site, and the multi-cage layout means your group won't be standing around waiting for space to open up, everyone can be hitting at the same time.
