Indoor Batting Cage in Jones, OK

What started as a workshop became an indoor batting cage in Jones, OK — because a dad wanted somewhere his boys and their friends could hit whenever they wanted, no matter the season.
The cage
The setup lives in a 30-by-40-foot turfed shop that can be heated and cooled, so the temperature outside never dictates whether you get your reps in. Inside is a 40-foot pull-out cage that extends when you need it and tucks away when you don't. It comes stocked with a baseball pitching machine, baseballs and softballs, heavy balls and small balls for focused drill work, flat gloves, and some extra bats if you show up empty-handed. The whole space measures 40 feet long, 10 feet wide, and 10 feet tall, and it rents for $35/hour with room for up to 10 guests.
Who it's for
With a pull-out cage and a heated, turfed shop, this is a comfortable, no-fuss spot for individual hitters or small groups to work year-round. The mix of baseball and softball balls, plus the heavy and small balls for drills, makes it flexible for players chasing different goals — whether that's live cuts off the machine or targeted mechanics work.
The host
Zac put it best: “Work shop turned batting cage for my boys and their friends. Renting it out to make it worth the change.” It's an honest, no-nonsense setup — a family space he built for his own kids and is now sharing so other local players can use it too. That's exactly the kind of neighborly setup that makes home cages special.
Good to know
The shop is turfed and can be heated and cooled, so it's genuinely usable in any season, summer or winter. The cage pulls out when you're ready and stows away after — a practical, private place to hit without the crowds of a public facility.
