The indoor batting cage in Houston, TX run by the Spring Branch Knights family is a private, climate-controlled space built around one simple idea: give an athlete room to focus.
The cage
This 1,000-square-foot, climate-controlled facility offers 50 feet of batting cage (12 feet wide and 14 feet tall) with a baseball pitching machine, an L-screen, a hitting tee, baseballs, a baseball bullpen mound, and space for infield work. There's a Bluetooth speaker, a small waiting area with a full view of the session, LED lighting, restroom access, and parking directly out front with an adjoining lot for busier days. The bay door can open for natural light and airflow. Rates are $40/hour, with a simple add-on if you bring an additional athlete along.
Who it's for
The space is set up for individual sessions, private lessons, and small groups, with youth and high-school players especially in mind. Personal trainers are welcome to run their own athletes here, and the open bay door even makes it a good spot for private photo or content sessions when the cage isn't in use.
The host
Angelica and her family “love baseball and fully understand the dedication that all athletes invest in their training.” That understanding is the whole point of the room, a private, distraction-free place to work, put together by people who've lived the grind themselves and wanted to give other families the same kind of space.
