Indoor Batting Cage in Festus, MO

This indoor batting cage in Festus, MO exists because a longtime fastpitch coach wanted to give local girls a place to hit. Nicole just built a brand-new cage — BYBB, her Back Yard Batting Cage — and opened it up so players have somewhere to sharpen their swing close to home.
The cage
The cage runs 36 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 14 feet high, all covered for year-round use. It's freshly stocked with new balls, Tanner tees, and hitting aids, plus an L-screen — and, notably, it has AC and heat, so it's comfortable in any season. Baseballs and softballs are both on hand. Amenities include restroom access, parking, music, lighting, and seating. Sessions run $30/hour.
Who it's for
Built with fastpitch hitters in mind but open to baseball players too, the cage suits individual sessions and small groups, holding up to six guests. It's a clean, comfortable spot to "get a good practice in to get to your next level," as Nicole puts it.
The host
"My name is Nicole Krodinger — I have coached and given fastpitch pitching lessons for 20-plus years," she says. Building this cage was about opportunity: "We just built a brand new hitting cage and want to give girls an opportunity to practice their hitting." That two decades of coaching heart is stamped all over the place.
Good to know
With AC and heat plus full lighting, the cage stays comfortable and usable in any weather, day or night. Restrooms and parking are on site, and the freshly stocked gear means you can show up and just hit.
For Festus-area families, the climate control is a genuine differentiator — AC in the summer and heat in the winter mean a comfortable session in any month, which matters for the fastpitch players Nicole built the cage for. Booking runs by the hour through the listing page, so it's easy to set a recurring lesson-day slot or grab a single session before a tournament, all close to home.
