Indoor Batting Cage in Eagle, ID

When a baseball family moves cross-country and there's nowhere to hit, you build your own — and that's exactly how this indoor batting cage in Eagle, ID came to be. Brian's family relocated from Washington to five private acres and put a serious cage in the barn, then decided to share it.
The cage
The cage runs 55 feet long, 14 feet wide, and 14 feet high inside a lighted barn, anchored by a HackAttack pitching machine that throws every pitch you'd want — with fastballs clocked at 97 mph. Baseballs, an L-screen, and hitting tees are all provided, and amenities include parking, lighting, music, and restroom access. Sessions run $40/hour.
Who it's for
This is a private setup suited to focused individual work or small-group reps, with room for up to four guests. Hitters wanting to see real velocity — and pitchers looking for a quiet place to work — will find it dialed in.
The host
"We are a baseball family," Brian says, and the five-acre property gives the cage genuine privacy. His motivation is simple and generous: "We would love to share our cage as we know there are no options in the Eagle and Star communities." What started as a family's own training space is now filling a real gap for the whole area.
Good to know
The barn is lighted and the five-acre lot means real privacy and easy parking. Because it's fully covered, Idaho winters never shut down a session, and the HackAttack is ready for everything from timing work to high-velocity reps.
For Eagle and Star families who've had to drive out of the area to find live pitching, this fills a real gap close to home. The HackAttack's velocity range makes it as useful for a high schooler timing up 90-plus as for a younger hitter working on contact. Booking is by the hour through the listing page, so it's simple to lock in a weekly reps slot or grab a session when the weather turns and the outdoor options disappear.
