Indoor Batting Cage in Carson City, NV

This covered, lighted indoor batting cage in Carson City, NV exists because a lifelong ballplayer decided his team deserved somewhere better to train — and then went and built it. Royal opened the space so his players, and any hitter in the area, would always have a clean, private place to get reps no matter what the Nevada weather is doing.
The cage
The cage is fully indoor and covered, measuring 35 feet long, 13 wide, and 12 tall, so wind, heat, and cold never cost anyone a session. It comes stocked with a baseball pitching machine, an L-screen, and a hitting tee, with both baseballs and softballs on hand for machine reps or tee work. LED lighting keeps evening slots bright, and there's a seating area for waiting players, a restroom, music, and on-site parking. At just $20 an hour, it's one of the more affordable covered cages you'll find anywhere — a genuine bargain for a year-round indoor space.
Who it's for
With room for up to five guests, the cage suits solo hitters grinding out reps, small groups, and family sessions alike. The pitching machine and L-screen make it a fit for live-arm timing or front-toss work, and having both baseballs and softballs available means baseball and softball players can both get a productive session in.
The host
"Been in baseball since I was a kid," Royal says. He's coached for the last six years, and he opened the indoor space so his own team and other local players would always have somewhere reliable to train. That's exactly the kind of quietly generous host CageList was built for — and now he's the coach in town with the cage everybody wants time in.
Good to know
It's a covered, year-round space, so weather is never a reason to skip. House rules are simple and standard: no cleats, no seeds or gum, no pets, and keep it respectful. Parking and a restroom are on site, and the lighting means later evening slots work fine for players coming straight from school or work.
