Dezert Cagez runs this indoor batting cage in Bullhead City, AZ, a large, fully turfed four-lane facility built to cover every part of the game, from softball and baseball machine work to dedicated tee and pitching lanes.

The cage

This covered indoor facility spans a large footprint (90 feet long, 50 wide, and 15 tall) divided into four lanes. One lane runs a softball pitching machine, another a baseball machine, a third is dedicated to tee work, and the fourth is a pitching lane. The space includes baseballs and softballs, fast-pitch and slow-pitch softball machines, an L-screen, a hitting tee, a bullpen mound, and room for infield work, all on high-quality turf. There's a restroom and lighting on site, and sessions run $40 an hour.

Who it's for

With four dedicated lanes and room for up to sixteen guests, this facility is built for teams and larger groups as much as individuals. Baseball and softball players are fully covered across machine, tee, and pitching stations, so a whole roster can rotate through hitting and pitching work at the same time instead of standing in line for one lane. There's also room for infield work when a coach needs it.

The host

Dezert Cagez describes a state-of-the-art indoor space designed so each lane sharpens a specific skill, one for softball machine work, one for baseball, one for tee work, and one for pitching. The entire facility is laid on high-quality turf for a comfortable, realistic training environment, and the four-lane layout means the space works as well for a full team as it does for a single hitter.

Good to know

Four separate lanes mean multiple players can train without waiting on each other, a real advantage for team sessions and a rarity among rentable cages. House rules are thorough: no cleats, no food, seeds, or gum, no pets, no alcohol, smoking, or glass, and no loud music. A restroom and lighting are on site, and the large covered space is usable year-round in any weather.
