Indoor Batting Cage in Acworth, GA

This indoor batting cage in Acworth, GA started as one dad's project to make his son a better ballplayer — and it turned into a two-in-one hitting-and-pitching space that other local families now get to use. It pairs a Jugs machine with a real mound and a 9-hole command target, all under one roof.
The cage
The covered, indoor cage measures 30 feet long, 10 wide, and 10 tall, built around a Jugs pitching machine that throws multiple pitch types for varied timing work. On the pitching side there's a mound with a 9-hole command target set 50 feet away, plus a bullpen mound, an arm stretcher, a tee, and a hit net in the back room. It includes baseballs and an L-screen, with lighting, seating, and parking on site. Sessions run $30 an hour, and a player can move from hitting to pitching without leaving the building.
Who it's for
With room for up to five guests, a mound, and a 9-hole target, this cage genuinely serves both hitters and pitchers. It's a strong fit for individual sessions, small groups, and travel-ball players who want to split time between machine hitting and command work — exactly the kind of two-way training a developing player needs.
The host
Andrew coaches his son's 11U travel team. "We created this cage for my son to improve his hitting and pitching," he says — and the mound, the 9-hole, and the Jugs machine are all there for exactly that. It's a build that came from a parent's investment in his kid's game, now open to other families chasing the same goal.
Good to know
Being indoor and covered, this cage works year-round no matter the weather. House rules are standard: no cleats, no seeds or gum, no food, no pets. The 9-hole target and arm stretcher make it a real pitching space, not just a hitting cage — a rare combination for a private setup.
