Host Spotlight: Yolanda's Backyard Batting Cage in Temecula, CA

"No Base Like Home" might be the best cage name we've come across, and it fits Yolanda Wagner's Temecula, CA backyard perfectly — a baseball-loving household throwing its gates open for hitters who just want a great place to swing.
The cage
Yolanda's outdoor cage is a long one: a full 80 feet by 14 feet, 10 feet tall, so there's real distance to work with. The star of the show is an Iron Mike pitching machine with an auto-feeder — no stopping to reload, no self-feeding, just step in and keep hitting. It's stocked with roughly 100 yellow balls and dials anywhere from 35–40 mph up to a serious 70–80 mph, so it grows with the hitter. There's a seating area for whoever's tagging along and parking on site, and it all goes for a very fair $35/hour.
The host
Yolanda describes herself best: "I'm a mom of three! I have two baseball loving boys! Come have some backyard fun and improve your batting skills in our batting cage!" That family energy is exactly what makes booking a backyard cage feel different from a commercial one — you're a guest, not a customer.
