Host Spotlight: Wayde's Backyard Batting Cage in Redding, CA

Wayde Hutchings opened up his Redding backyard cage to hitters across Northern California — an honest, well-equipped outdoor spot for anyone who just needs somewhere to get their reps in.
The cage
This is a roomy outdoor cage measuring 60 feet long, 10 feet wide, and 10 feet high — long enough for real timing work. Wayde describes it plainly: a decent cage in pretty good condition with a few patched holes, plus a nine-hole strike-zone target to pitch into. The cage comes with baseballs, an L-screen, a hitting tee, a bullpen mound, and there's even enough space for some infield work. Parking and a sound system round it out. It runs just $23/hour and holds up to eight, and if you need equipment, Wayde says to feel free to ask.
The host
Wayde opened his private cage to hitters in the Redding area, keeping it straightforward: a real backyard cage, fair pricing, and a host who's happy to help you find whatever gear you need. That's exactly what CageList was built for — a good cage shouldn''t sit empty when someone nearby wants to hit.
