Host Spotlight: Tim's Custom Wooden Cage in Claremont, CA

Up in Claremont, California, Tim and his son Taylor built something genuinely one of a kind — a custom wooden cage on the Kapadia estate, tucked into a safe, upscale neighborhood.

The cage

Tim's outdoor cage is a custom-built, one-of-a-kind 35-foot wooden cage in excellent condition, with lights for evening sessions. It comes with a solid L-screen, a pro batting tee, and a turf hitting mat laid over a compacted dirt floor for a clean, stable surface underfoot. There's also a pitching mound and bullpen available for use, and a bullpen catcher can be arranged with prior notice — a rare touch you simply don't find on most listings, and a real gift if you're a pitcher looking to throw a live pen. Water and Gatorades are available to purchase on site, and there's parking, a seating area, and music. For all of that, sessions run just $20/hour.
