Host Spotlight: Stanley's Turfed Batting Cage in Dadeville, AL

Tucked conveniently between Auburn and Montgomery, Stanley's training facility in Dadeville is one of those spots that just makes sense the second you walk up — a real, purpose-built place to hit, right where central Alabama needed one. It's the kind of cage that turns a long drive into a short one for a whole region of hitters.
The cage
This is a fully turfed, 60-foot outdoor cage — 12 feet wide and 12 feet tall — with plenty of room to let it eat. Stanley keeps it stocked the way a serious training facility should be: a Juggs pitching machine with balls provided, an L-screen for front toss, batting tees, and a comprehensive assortment of training devices for building out a real workout. Softball hitters aren't an afterthought here either — there's a fast-pitch softball machine on hand, so both crowds get their reps in the same well-kept space. A bullpen mound gives pitchers somewhere to throw, and the cage is spacious enough that catchers can hone their skills behind the plate too. There's a bathroom on site and music to keep the sessions moving, and the whole thing runs $50/hour.
The host
Stanley opened up this facility to hitters in the Dadeville area, splitting the difference between the Auburn and Montgomery drives so nobody in central Alabama has to go far for good, dependable reps.
