Host Spotlight: Sam's Backyard Batting Cage in Aptos, CA

Sam is a high school ballplayer in Aptos, California who put his big backyard cage on CageList so other hitters can use it when his family isn't.
The cage
Sam's cage is on the larger side — 53 feet long, 18 feet wide, and 18 feet high, so there's real room to move. It's an outdoor setup that comes with a pitching machine, a tee, and a bucket of balls, along with an L-screen. What Sam likes to point out is the machine: it can throw as hard or soft as you want, and it'll even mix in curveballs if you're up for the challenge. Both baseball and softball players are welcome. There's parking on site, and at $40/hour it's an easy pick for anyone near Aptos looking to get quality reps in a spacious cage.
The host
Sam sums it up well: "I am a high school baseball player and I have a really cool batting cage in my back yard." It sits unused for much of the day, so he's opening it up to fellow baseball and softball players — exactly what CageList is all about.
Book it — or list your own
If you're near Aptos and you need somewhere to hit, book Sam's cage here and go to work. Somewhere else? Find a batting cage near you and get in the box.
And if you've got a cage of your own sitting idle, Sam is a great example of what's possible. List your cage on CageList and see what it could earn.
Thanks for being part of CageList, Sam.
