Host Spotlight: Ron's Turf Cage & Field in Poway, CA

In Poway, California, Ron offers something most backyard hosts can't — a brand-new cage attached to a genuinely large turf training field.
The cage
Ron's outdoor cage is a long one: 75 feet by 10 feet by 10 feet, brand new, with great turf underfoot that gives hitters clean, consistent footing rep after rep. What really sets this listing apart is what's next to it — an adjacent enclosed turf field with 20-foot-high netting, suitable for little league baseball and softball infield practice. All told it's about 8,000 square feet of usable training space, which is a lot more than a standard backyard net can offer. Sessions start at $60/hour, with LED lighting and restroom access on site. Ron keeps the pricing flexible with à la carte add-ons: you can add a pitching machine, the lights, ball usage, or the full field space depending on what your session actually needs. It works for both baseball and softball, with an L-screen, a hitting tee, and room for full infield work.
The host
Ron says he "provides baseball and softball hitting lessons to kids 8-12 years old" and is a former Little League and U13 coach — so the cage comes from someone who knows exactly what young hitters need to get better, and who built the space with that in mind.
