Host Spotlight: Omar's South LA Batting Cage in Los Angeles, CA

Omar's cage in South LA is a labor of love, and he'll tell you so himself. His outdoor spot in Los Angeles is proof that a great cage doesn't need to be a giant facility — it just needs a host who cares.
The cage
This is a 35-foot outdoor cage, 14 feet wide and 9 tall, set up for real hitting work. It comes with an L-screen, a tee, and a genuinely well-stocked ball supply: a dozen Total Control TCB 74 balls, a dozen SKLZ waffle balls, and a full bucket of leather baseballs. There's a small area to work on fielding too. As Omar describes it, the cage is "perfect for soft toss, front toss, and live BP." Want more? His add-ons include extra TCB balls, live pitching from Omar himself, and even a Hack Attack machine. There's music, lighting, parking, a bathroom, and seating on site. Sessions start at $25/hour.
The host
Omar puts it plainly: "I'm Omar, I'm 29 years old. I love the game of baseball and everything to do with it. I put my heart and soul into this cage, and I am offering it to anyone who wants to get some reps and improve on their game." That's the whole spirit of CageList in one paragraph.
