Host Spotlight: Mark's 8-Station Batting Cage in Canyon Lake, CA

Some of the best cages on CageList started as a labor of love, and Mark's outdoor cage in Canyon Lake is exactly that kind of place — built for family first, and now open to hitters all over the area.
The cage
Mark's setup is genuinely different: it's an outdoor cage that runs a full 60 feet long, 16 feet wide, and 12 feet tall, with eight different individual stations for working on your hitting. That variety is the whole idea — you can move from station to station and drill different parts of your swing in a single session. It comes equipped with a baseball pitching machine, a bullpen mound for pitching work, an L-screen, a hitting tee, baseballs, and enough space around it for infield work too. There's a seating area for family and teammates, and it runs $45/hour, with the option to add extra half-hours if you need more time.
The host
Mark says it best himself: "Baseball has always been a huge part of my family, from coaching my grandson Dylan and watching the Dodgers with my wife." He built the cages when Dylan was just five years old, and the two of them have shared everything from hitting to umpiring together ever since. Don't be surprised if Dylan is out in the backyard to help assist coaching — that's the kind of place this is.
