Host Spotlight: Lauren's Backyard Batting Cage in Kent, WA

Lauren runs The Trujillo Cage in Kent, Washington — a long private backyard cage built to make quality training more accessible and affordable for the local baseball and softball community.
The cage
The Trujillo Cage is a full 70-foot enclosed outdoor cage with plenty of room for hitting, pitching, tee work, and drills, whether you're going solo or working with a coach. It runs a baseball-and-softball combo pitching machine, a variety of screens and nets, a hitting tee, a soft-toss station, and enough space for some infield work, so both baseball and softball players are genuinely well covered. There's a seating area for whoever tags along and street parking for a handful of cars right out front. Supervised youth players are welcome, and the space comfortably fits everyone from youth hitters up through college-level players. A session runs $40/hour with flexible scheduling — a good fit whether you're prepping for tryouts, working with a trainer, or just trying to get extra swings in before your next game.
The host
Lauren opened The Trujillo Cage to hitters across the Kent area with a simple goal: give the local sports community an affordable, quality place to train on their own schedule. That's exactly the kind of neighbor-helping-neighbor spirit CageList was built on.
Book it — or list your own
If you're near Kent and you need somewhere to hit, book Lauren's cage here and go to work. Somewhere else? Find a batting cage near you and get in the box.
