Host Spotlight: Laura's Backyard Bullpen in Burleson, TX

The Backyard Bullpen in Burleson, Texas is exactly what it sounds like — a private outdoor turf cage where hitters can get real reps without the crowds. Laura Woerner is our next Cage Spotlight.
The cage
Laura's cage is a fully enclosed outdoor turf tunnel running a full 60 feet, featuring professional-grade turf, high-quality netting, and a Hack Attack pitching machine that hitters of all levels can work off of. There's a soft-toss station, a hitting tee, an L-screen, a softball bullpen mound, and softballs available on request. Lighting means evening sessions under the crisp Texas air are on the table, and it starts at $30/hour with flexible add-ons for machine time, extra Tanner tees, station hitting, and pitch-back nets. There are individual, machine, and team packages ranging from 30 to 90 minutes, so you can dial in exactly the session you want. Whether you're a parent working with a young ballplayer, a coach running team practice, or a player just looking to sharpen your swing, there's plenty of room to hit at your own pace — no crowds, no waiting.
The host
Laura opened up her private turf cage to hitters in the Burleson area, giving the community a clean, open-air place to train — the kind of host CageList was built around.
