Host Spotlight: Jared's 70-Foot Turf Cage in Moody, AL

Jared Sands built the kind of cage a lot of hitters wish they had in their own backyard — a full 70-foot outdoor run in Moody, laid out on graded, flat ground with turf end to end.
The cage
The numbers tell the story: 70 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 20 feet tall, with 70 feet of turf underfoot so you're seeing true bounces and real pitch flight. Jared's setup handles both baseball and softball — it comes stocked with a pitching machine, baseballs, softballs, an L-screen, and a hitting tee. The standout piece is a professionally made wooden pitching mound with its own turf floor, so pitchers can throw a proper bullpen instead of working off flat ground. There's restroom access and a sound system on site, and it runs $45/hour, with a pitching machine and baseballs available as add-ons if you'd rather travel light.
The host
Jared describes his household simply as a "Baseball/Softball/Football/Volleyball family" — in other words, a busy sports household that knows exactly what a good training space needs, and now shares that space with hitters around Moody.
