Host Spotlight: Glenn's Full-Length Backyard Cage in Ashland, MA

Out in MetroWest, in Ashland, Massachusetts, Glenn genuinely loves hearing the sound of a bat in his backyard — and he's built the kind of cage that makes it happen.
The cage
Glenn's outdoor cage runs a full 60 feet long, 14 feet wide, and 10 feet tall — long enough for real hitting and pitching work in the yard. It comes with baseballs, an L-screen, a hitting tee, and enough space for infield work, plus on-site parking and a seating area for the folks watching. Sessions go for $55/hour, and if you want it, Glenn offers coaching or live pitching as an add-on — which is worth considering, because with him you're getting decades of know-how throwing to you.
The host
Glenn is exactly the kind of host CageList was built for. "I have been a high School Teacher and Baseball coach for 34 years," he says — his son plays high school and travel baseball, and his live-in nephew just wrapped a college baseball career. As he puts it, rarely is anyone home using the cage, and he and his wife "would enjoy hearing the sound of a bat in the cage." That's the whole idea: a great cage shouldn't sit empty when someone nearby wants their reps.
