Host Spotlight: Emmanuel's Backyard Hitting Oasis in Algonquin, IL

Emmanuel calls his Algonquin setup a "Backyard Hitting Oasis," and once you see how it comes together, the name fits — this is a private, outdoor cage built for fresh-air reps, whether you're a youth player or a college arm looking for bullpen work.

The cage

Emmanuel's outdoor cage is dialed in for both hitting and pitching. It comes equipped with a pitching machine, an L-screen, a batting tee, a soft-toss station, and baseballs, plus a seating area for parents and teammates to post up. If you want to face live speed, there's a Jr. Hack Attack pitching machine available as an add-on. It's a private space that holds up to six, with dedicated parking spots on site so getting in and out is easy. At $30/hour, it's one of the more affordable ways to get quality reps in the northwest suburbs — and it's set up to serve everyone from youth players to pitchers running their throwing programs.
