Host Spotlight: Danny's Turf Batting Cage in Houston, TX

Danny Arredondo runs a private batting cage in north central Houston — and it comes with a bonus you don't see every day: a mini Wiffle ball field to go right alongside the reps.
The cage
Danny's outdoor, fully turfed cage measures 55 feet long, 15 feet wide, and 10 feet tall — plenty of length to see real pitch flight and take honest swings. It's built for actual work, not just soft toss: a baseball pitching machine, baseballs, an L-screen, a hitting tee, and a pitcher's mound so you can throw a bullpen as easily as you can hit. Exterior lighting keeps the evening sessions going long after the sun drops, and there's a seating area, on-site parking, and music to set the tone. That mini Wiffle ball field is the nice touch — it means the younger crew always has something to do between rounds instead of standing around. Sessions go for $40/hour, one of the more affordable rates you'll find for a setup this complete, and a pitching machine is available as an add-on if you want the arm dialed in for you.
The host
Danny keeps the intro short and to the point — a private batting cage located in north central Houston, opened up to hitters in the area who need a clean, well-equipped place to get their swings in on their own schedule.
