Host Spotlight: Chester's Backyard Cage with Mound in Dallas, TX

Chester built his Dallas cage for one simple reason — to give his three boys a place to practice together — and now hitters around the area get to share in it too. That's the whole idea behind CageList, right there in one backyard.
The cage
It's a fully enclosed, netted outdoor cage laid over synthetic Astro turf, 50 feet long, 12 wide and 10 tall. The setup is genuinely thoughtful for a family build: a Jugs Jr. pitching machine that comes with 30 yellow dimpled balls, plus a bucket of hardballs for live pitching, and a full-size adjustable pitching mound so your pitcher can dial in the exact distance they need. There's an L-screen for safe front toss and a batting tee for isolation work, and a bench for waiting players so a group can rotate through comfortably. Best of all, it's lighted for evening and night practice, so a busy weeknight doesn't mean skipping reps. The pitching machine and lights are offered as small, affordable add-ons. The cage runs $20/hour.
The host
Chester says it best: "Three boys aged 11–8 all in baseball, two pitchers and a catcher. Come from a baseball family with an uncle who played college ball. Put this cage together to offer the boys a place to practice together."
Book it — or list your own
If you're anywhere near Dallas and you need somewhere to hit, book Chester's cage here — grab your bucket and go to work. Somewhere else? Find a batting cage near you and get in the box.
And if you've got a cage of your own sitting idle most of the week, Chester is a great example of what's possible. List your cage on CageList and see what it could earn.
Thanks for being part of CageList, Chester.
