Host Spotlight: Aaron's Backyard Batting Cage in Mentor, OH

Aaron opened up his family's backyard cage in Mentor, Ohio to hitters in the area — a long, roomy setup built by a baseball family that clearly logs a lot of swings.

The cage

This is a big one: 66 feet long, 14 feet wide, and 12 feet high, so there's plenty of room to really let it fly. It's an outdoor cage, ideal for fresh-air hitting sessions, and it comes with baseballs, an L-screen, and a batting tee. There's also enough space for some infield work if you want to mix in more than just hitting, plus parking on site. A session runs $25/hour, which is a genuine value for a cage this size. If you want machine reps, there's an Iron Mike pitching machine with low-seam baseballs available as an add-on.
