CageList Buyer's Notes
- Who it's for
- Serious cages, travel, high-school, and college hitters, and coaches running lessons.
- Why we recommend it
- The three-wheel design throws every pitch type with realistic spin and lets the hitter see the ball out of the wheels — no warm-up, game-speed reps up to 100 mph, and commercial durability that runs for a decade-plus. The wheels are the only real wear item: when they eventually go, you replace a set of three for a fraction of the price, not the whole machine. Buy it once.
- Good to know
- It's a real investment and heavy enough to live in one tunnel — overkill for a young beginner who needs slow, soft pitches.
- Or consider
- The Junior Hack Attack for youth and mixed ages, or the Heater Sports Pro if you just want cheap solo reps.
The three-wheel machine college and pro programs train on: every wheel out in the open, so a hitter times the release instead of waiting on a ball to appear out of a covered chute. Fastballs, curves, sliders and sinkers up to 100 mph. Ships from Sports Attack in Verdi, Nevada with their full manufacturer warranty and phone service line.
